Restaurant websites
For restaurants, cafes, bakeries and caterers. Hungry people decide in under a minute, usually on a phone, often standing outside.
The problem
Every extra tap between someone and your menu is a chance for them to pick the place next door.
Prices changed, dishes changed, and the picture someone posted is still the first thing that comes up.
A PDF menu opens in a viewer, loads slowly, and needs pinching. Half the people give up before the mains.
Google says one thing, the door says another, and the customer who drove over will remember it.
During service, the phone is the worst way to take a booking, and the caller knows it.
What we build
The page is ordered the way a hungry person reads it, not the way a brochure is written.
Text you can read at any size, organised by course, easy for you to update when a price or a dish changes.
Open or closed, where you are, and a tap to open directions in their maps app.
Buttons that go straight to your reservation or ordering service, or a request form if you take bookings yourself.
A few good pictures of the food and the space do more than any amount of description.
What is included
Ordering and reservation platforms are connected, not replaced. See the note under the price.
Example project
Concept website created to demonstrate what we can build for a restaurant.
A menu led restaurant site with table reservations and deposits, allergen tagging, order ahead pickup, and an automatic waitlist. Walk through the whole thing as a customer would.
View ProjectWhat it costs
This is a starting price. What you pay depends on how big the site is, which features it needs, how much content there is, and what it has to connect to.
$300starting at
Menu, hours, location, photos, contact, and links out to your reservation or ordering service.
Get a Free QuoteOnline ordering and reservation platforms are separate services with their own costs. We connect the one you use, or help you choose one, but the platform fee is not part of this price. Ongoing care is optional and starts at $25 a month.
Optional add-ons
How it works
The same five steps, with the menu as the piece we need earliest.
01
You fill in six quick questions, or we talk it through. No long questionnaire.
02
Within one business day: what we would build, which features matter for you, and the starting price.
03
You see the full price in writing before any work starts. Nothing begins until you say so.
04
You see the real thing partway through and tell us what to change.
05
We publish it, then walk you through your own site on a call so you know how it works.
Questions
No. We connect the service you already use, or help you pick one. Those platforms charge their own fees, which are separate from the website price.
Yes, and we show you how on the walkthrough call. If you would rather text us the change, that is what a care plan is for.
Same answer as ordering. We link to your reservation platform, or build a request form if you take bookings by hand.
Yes. That is one of the add-ons, and it is the one restaurants in New York ask for most.
About two weeks once we have your menu and photos. The menu is usually the slow part, so send it first.
Not currently. We tell you exactly what to shoot on a phone, and the results are usually fine for a menu site.
